Lx – Compact Liquid Flow Meters
The Lx liquid flow meters are designed for compact integration into OEM devices or instruments. The sensor’s dimensions are reduced to a minimum in order to provide maximum flexibility for the design-in. With the Lx liquid flow meters, Sensirion is able to offer competitive pricing for large volume applications throughout different industries.
The LG01 liquid flow switch provides a cost-effective solution for the reliable detection of flow, the presence of air, or a leakage in a fluidic system within less than 100 ms in situations where quantitative flow information is not required.
All Lx liquid flow meters feature a 4-pin or 5-pin Molex PCB connector for compact electrical integration.
Overview of Lx Liquid Flow Meters:
LG16 SERIES
The small footprint of the LG16 series makes it the ideal choice for the integration of a liquid flow meter into OEM devices. It is available in a digital version with I²C communication and an analog version with a voltage output between 0-5 V. Flow rates from the sub-µl per minute range up 80 ml/min for different calibration media are covered by six sensor versions.
LS32-1500
The chemical-resistant LS32-1500 liquid flow meter comes in a compact housing of high mechanical robustness. The wetted materials (high-performance stainless steel, PEEK, and PTFE) provide excellent media compatibility and exceptional chemical resistance. Ideal for the biomedical market, it also offers a cost-effective, compact, and reliable solution for many applications with flow rates of up to 40 ml/min.
LG01 SERIES
The LG01 liquid flow switch provides a cost-effective solution for the detection of flow, bubbles, and leakages. The sensor’s output signal of either 0 or 5 volts indicates whether the current flow rate is above or below the specified flow switch level. The pre-set switch levels are at 4.5 ml/min or 0.25 ml/min (valid for H2O).
LPG10 Series – Planar Miniature Flow Sensors
Are you looking for a smart sensor solution for a very compact integration into an OEM device? The LPG10 series represents our smallest liquid flow sensor with a footprint of only 10×10 mm2. It offers an innovative design for flow rates below 1 ml/min down to the low microliter per minute range in a planar glass substrate with down-mount fluidic ports.
SLx – Standalone Liquid Flow Meters
If you can’t find what you are looking for, please have a look at our SLx liquid flow meters. They all feature a robust IPxx protected housing and the same 4-pin M8 connector. In combination with the SCC1 sensor cables, they provide a modular solution that covers a wide range of flow rates and a suitable electrical interface for almost any environment.
Liquid Flow Meter Kits
In order to conduct initial measurements quickly and easily, all our Lx liquid flow meters can be ordered as part of a specific Evaluation Kit. In addition to the liquid flow meter of your choice, the kit contains several interface cables, a basic set of fluidic connectors, and a Windows PC viewer and logging software. The kit is intended to provide you with an idea of the specific design of our OEM sensors compared with the SLx liquid flow meters.
